Yes. The Perfume Vault is a retailer of imported designer fragrances — Hugo Boss, Versace, Armani, Creed, Tom Ford and others. We do not make our own perfume, we do not sell “inspired by” or “first copy” versions, and we do not decant into branded bottles.

Every bottle arrives sealed in its factory cellophane with the batch code intact on both the bottle and the carton. If those two codes do not match, or the seal is broken, refuse the delivery and message us — we replace the order outright.

Four things, in order of how often they catch a fake:

• Cellophane. Factory wrap is tight and seamless with neatly folded ends. Loose or re-taped wrap is a warning.
• Batch code. Printed or stamped on the base of the bottle and on the carton, and the two must match.
• Print quality. Brand text is sharp and level. Fuzzy, off-centre or misspelled printing means a copy.
• Atomiser. A fine mist, not a jet, and a cap that seats firmly with an even gap.

Two reasons, and neither is the bottle. We import in volume, and we do not carry the cost of a retail floor in a shopping mall.

That said — if a price anywhere looks impossible for a current designer release, it is. A 70% discount on a fragrance that is in production is a replica, wherever you see it.

No, and we will not claim to be. We buy through importers and duty-free channels rather than direct from the brands.

What we guarantee is what actually matters to you: the bottle is genuine, sealed and batch-coded, and you can return it if it is not.

Every order ships with a tracking number, sent to you on WhatsApp as soon as the parcel is collected. You never have to ask for it.

Yes, anywhere we deliver, with no extra charge and nothing paid up front. Please keep the exact amount ready — couriers often cannot change large notes.

If you would rather pay by bank transfer, choose Pay via Bank Transfer in the cart and 3% comes straight off your total at checkout — nothing to claim back afterwards. We send the account details on WhatsApp, and the parcel goes out once the transfer shows.

Yes. You have 15 days from delivery and we accept opened bottles, provided at least half the fragrance remains — nobody can judge a scent from a paper strip.

If it arrived faulty, damaged or wrong, we pay the return shipping both ways and book the pickup. If you simply changed your mind, the return leg is yours, usually Rs 250 to 400 depending on your city.

Opened gift and discovery sets are the one exception: their value is in the unbroken set.

Start from what you already wear and tell us on WhatsApp — that is the shortest route, because we can match the family rather than the marketing.

Failing that, read the note pyramid on the product page and pay attention to the base notes, not the top. The opening is the part every fragrance gets right; the base is what you will actually smell at 6pm and it is where copies fall apart.

It is the proportion of fragrance oil to alcohol. Eau de toilette is roughly 5–15%, eau de parfum 15–20%, parfum or extrait 20–40%. More oil means it projects further and lasts longer from fewer sprays, which is why the parfum concentration of a scent costs more than the EDT of the same name.

For Pakistani summers a lighter EDT often wears better in daylight; the heavier concentrations come into their own in winter and at night.

Two sprays on pulse points — the inside of each wrist or the base of the throat — and one on the fabric of your collar. Fabric holds base notes far longer than skin.

Do not rub your wrists together: it crushes the top notes and shortens the whole arc. Apply straight after a shower while skin still holds some moisture.

Upright, in the box, away from sunlight and away from the bathroom. Heat and light break down the oils faster than anything else, and a bathroom shelf gives a fragrance both.

Stored properly, a sealed bottle keeps for years; an opened one is at its best within about two.

Not yet. Fragrance is classed as a flammable good, so international shipping needs a courier contract we have not signed. Domestic orders only for now.

Often, yes. Message us the exact name and concentration and we will tell you what our importers can get, what it will cost and how long it will take — usually one to three weeks. We ask for a deposit only on special orders.

Gift wrapping is free — leave a note at checkout or tell us on WhatsApp and we will send it boxed with the price removed from the invoice.
